Illumination
This past two weeks has been quite the illuminating experience. I learned a lot about myself, and others as well. Many surprises, some great, some not. I definitely feel solidified in who I am and how I got here now and will continue keeping my head down and focused on hard work to further myself rather than wasting time seeking the shallow easy path. What I do and how I do it is never the easy way but at the end of the day the rewards are much greater and much more real. This shot is from an early morning hike in Tomales State Park along the coast of Tomales Bay. It was a pain in the ass to get up this early after a night of hanging out with friends but it was so worth it. It reminds me that everytime I have that "f*ck it" thought that I need to put it out of my mind and go for it because these photos just won't capture themselves.
